Curly is a 6 year old fawn male Italian Greyhound that came into rescue on April 25, 2013 with his brother Tater when health issues forced his owner to surrender them.

Curly was adopted on September 4, 2013.  Curly now shares a quiet home with his new best friend an Italian Greyhound name Puccini.  Puccini’s brother had just passed away and he was feeling very lonely.  Curly brought the spark back to Puccini and he now has a new playmate.

Puccini and Curly get along very well together.  At first Puccini was not too sure of this new guy coming in to his house and sharing his mother’s love.  Thanks to Curly’s easy going personality, Puccini was won over.  Now the two of them play, cuddle and sometimes sleep together.  They love to go on walks and  enjoy quiet times at home with their human companions. We were worried about separating Curly and Tater but them both seem to be fine without the other.

Katie went in to a foster home where she was put on portion feeding and walked regularly which she thoroughly enjoy.  Katie lost all that extra weight and slimmed down to the size she should be.  A friend visiting Katie’s foster mom fell in love with Katie and adopted her on November 2, 2013.

Katie enjoys being the center of attention as an only dog which she prefers.  She is spoiled but still kept on a portion control feeding schedule to maintain her new figure.  She enjoys going for walks, lying in the sun and socializing with her human companions.
